YOU HAVE A CHOICE!

As the General Election(GE) is coming nearer and nearer as the days goes by, my life as well as those of my comrades is getting more hectic. There seems to be like thousands and one things to do and attend to. Me, being chosen as a potential candidate for the Workers’ Party this coming GE, and it being my first time, is feeling quite excited but a bit of nervousness at the same time. It will all be up to the party leadership to decides if they want me to stand on nomination day. If they do eventually decides that i shall stand, then i’m mentally prepared and will go all out for it, fighting hard for every vote and educating Singaporeans that there are no fear in voting for the alternatives and that they do have a choice to make. If not, then i’ll be playing as a supportive role, helping the candidates in reaching out to the voters. Whatever it is, we’ll be fighting for the interest of Singapore and Singaporeans as a whole. That is our main priority and shal always be our priority. Why must we always Pay And Pay and make our cost of living goes up? Think about it my dear friends. Last but not least, i quote this ever famous phrase, " Ask What You Can Do For Your Country And Not What Your Country Can Do For You!" CHEERS!

It has been a few days since both Gee and Charo had returned back to their homeland, the Philippines. I quite really miss their presence and somehow the working atmosphere in the shop has a bit change. There’s no more Charo to play, disturb and have fun with and no want to accompany my trip back home. There’s no Gee to have laughter and fun too. Tears had flowed on all side and i know most of the staffs do miss Charo’s presense in the shop. She is like the heart and soul of the shop! hahaha… Yup, by the way Gee did contact me from all the way back in the Philippines in the island of Mindanao, if i’m not mistaken. Quite good to hear her voice but it would better with her presense here. Whatever it is, i would be missing both Gee and Charo always. Hope to see the both of them again soon…

Wow… the election fever is really heating up. Next week, the ruling party will start to introduce their new candidates to the general public. Expecting them to come out with their manifesto soon and then PM will announce the nomination day. If i were to believe my gut feeling, the election will be held somewhere in April, after the parliament sitting. Btw for  the Alternatives Party, we especially the Workers’ Party had prepared for this coming GE years ago, in fact can be said right after the last GE. As people had been guessing, we might be contesting about 3 to 4 GRC’s plus the 2 single seat wards of the incumbent Hougang and also the seat of Joo Chiat. The WP candidates will sure give the Whites a very tough fight. As can be seen, WP is the strongest Alternative party to challenge the supremacy of the Whites. And i strongly believe, either 1 or 2 GRC will fall to the Alternatives. AS a member of WP, i’ll surely be helping it to get the fullest support from the people, to make them realise that they DO have a Choice! SO, really expecting a very heated contest Singapore had ever seen in this coming GE. May the best partyt wins!!! ( Hope that Aljunied GRC will crumble under the POWER of the HAMMER!!!) POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!
