YOU HAVE A CHOICE!

Welcome To Singapore…. the land FOR FOREIGN TALENTS!!! Whoever is born in Singapore, with the pink ic, have to go through national service etc are just 2nd class citizens! Don’t you think and feel so? Now, with the governtment new policy of welcoming all this FT to Singapore, what will happen to us, Singaporeans? Those foreigners will take away our jobs and you can never know, they might also take over this land of ours one day! I’m not totally against this foreign talent policy but i strongly believe that there must always be a limit on it. And from my personal point of view, they have gone over this limits. The governtment must always put the welfare, concerns, well-being of Singaporeans first but from the way i look at it, the governtment is doing the other way round. Is this what we called a first world governtment? Care for all this FT but not your own citizens? What kind of governtment is this?

Now, A certain Singapore leader was lamenting on the fact that Singaporeans are not producing enough babies. So as to boost our population, they want all this FT to come to Singapore, hoping that by their presense here, it will give a boost to our dwindling birth rates!! What kind of logic is this? Singaporeans, please do not forget. Whose idea was it to implement the stop at 2 policy in the past? Whose idea was it to suggest that only graduate woman can give birth? If you still have got no idea, it comes from that old man who has the title of MM! And now, you see the son saying another thing, pleading one and all to make love and produce more babies!

I strongly believe that Singaporeans should now stand united as one people to protest against his policy of our first world governtment. Do the governtment really know the reason why many nowadays prefer to remain single rather than set up a family unit? One of the reason is due to the high cost of living, not forgetting of the stressful environment we are living in. The pace of life here is just moving  too fast and people are just trying to compete with one another. People just can’t cope with this kind of life.Does the ministers know this? Of course they don’t coz they are enjoying getting their fat pocket money every month! They don’t care for you, they only want you to follow and do and obey what they say, just like a good dog…

Fellow Singaporeans, please wake up now. Now there’s this saying of," JOBS for FOREIGNERS, NS for SINGAPOREANS". Please, for the sake of our belove Singapore and our fellow Singaporeans, we should stand together as one to protest against this Foreign Talent policy. United we stand, Divided we fall, Do not let Singapore fall into the hand of foreigners and their puppets.

Sunday,20th August 2006, will be a historic and memorable moment for me. On this fateful day, i’ve been given a very strong mandate by the members of the Workers’ Party Youth Wing to lead the Youth Wing as its Vice-President, alongside with Perry Tong (President) and Glenda Han (Secretary). 6 other members were also elected into the Exco. Through this democratic process, The Workers’ Party has shown itself to be a party which practices what it preaches. In fact, i believe that it is the only political party in Singapore to practice what it preaches as there are some other party which says about "Renewal" and yet they still have an ‘old man’ up there who stills want to stand for election when he is 87! For goodness sake! Back to the main story, i am very much humbled and touch by the no of votes i received from members. Now, a heavy responsibility has been loaded upon me, and as the Youth Wing VP, i will do my very best to serve the interest of the party and the interest of this great nation as a whole. One of my main focus now is to find ways to attract the youth to take part or be part of this political process. They can’t have this sense of political apathy anymore because whether they like it or not, politics will affect their life! Last but not least, do visit us at www.wp.org.sg
